What EP sells, and why it wins.

EP Technologies is a complete marine propulsion provider for electric and hybrid vessels. Batteries (LiFePO4 and NMC, 12 to 800 VDC), saildrive, shaftdrive, Z-drive and jet-drive propulsion, DC generators, and the EMS / PMS control software with a BoatControl app. Systems from 30 to 300 kW. Founded 2013 in Reinbek near Hamburg and Sonderborg, Denmark. Founders with deep electric-propulsion and boating experience.

EP serves three very different buyers, and they need three different motions. Pick the lead. Do not run all three the same way.

Zero-emission zones, low-emission harbor and inland-waterway rules, green-shipping mandates. A vessel that must operate in a newly restricted area has no choice.

When an electrification grant opens in a country or region, a wave of operators and owners can suddenly afford to convert, and they start shopping that quarter.
